I am guessing they are Horned owls, or what gets called hoot owls around here. We have always heard them and see the adults out here. We also have barn owls. They are usually the ones nesting in the old abandoned deer blinds. This deer blind is in the far corner of our property. The "door" blew in a year or so ago. I knew we had adults that roosted there, but today I decided to look closer. When I looked closer I had to run home for a camera. There are two of them. They never moved. I zoomed in as much as I could, even held my camera at arms length in front of me to get closer shots without bothering them.
